There's a lawn care company making the rounds arguing that this is a real problem.

I can't find any references with Duck Duck Go, Google, Ecosia...nothing so far.

Never mind. It seems I've misunderstood something at my end. Not for the first time, apparently.

A regionalism? The only serious problems I know about are Hogweed (looks like Queen Anne's Lace on Megaflora Path), jumping worms, and kudzu.

After that it's aesthetics and HOA covenants regarding what propaganda they believe about clover. I've got a bit of a beef about creeping charlie but it's just a nuisance and 2020--it's not why the aliens have us Zoned as Do Not Contact May Escape.

My Grama fussed about cinch grass - but only in her flowerbeds. She was born in Montana and lived in Oregon before coming to Canada. Being completely uninterested in gardening, I have no idea what cinch grass looks like.

I did a little googling, and I wonder whether if it comes by way of a cinch or saddle girth, because some of them are made of woven grass - so that would mean something fairly tough, possibly coarse and big.

Then this all reminded me of the childhood slang that something is a cinch - laughably easy.

But Grama definitely waged war against cinch grass - and also cooch grass, now that I think of it.
