I wish they'd do the same thing for hockey. I don't give a shit about this season resuming, and am grateful that my Sharks sucked so badly before the pandemic that they aren't playing now.

Neither do I, regardless of the Sens' situation. NHL getting what they want from Edmonton and Toronto could backfire horrifically.

Yes, unfortunately it could. I got so disgusted when the league first talked about going back to play that I stopped paying attention to where the games would be. I assume that there are no US cities in play.

Nope. The plan, as I've understood, is to confine all the playoff action to those two cities, keep the numbers in the rinks to the absolute minimum necessary to play and broadcast the games themselves, no ticket sales to paying foot-traffic audiences. They'll get what revenue they can from ad sales.
