On Twitter, I've read that Reuters and Teen Vogue reporters are noticing active-duty military police being brought into Washington City.

There is news that military police may be pulled in, I haven't seen confirmation yet. D.C. is not a state per se, so it might not be a violation of the Posse Comitatus act for them to be brought in there, I don't know. Squishy area in the law there.
