james_davis_nicoll summed up the logic for my doing that. For skipping the coverage of what might otherwise be a milestone of human space exploration and space commerce.

In a better time and place, I might not consider doing this. But this is the time and place we're in.

That is also a good reason.

My reason (besides that I was out walking with my mom) is that I expect everything Elon Musk touches to be an epic fail, and one of my earliest memories is of the Challenger disaster.

Most of the Apollo missions - including the Skylab trips - are things that I was either not alive for at that point, or I was still in diapers...particularly around the time of Apollo XI. The first mission I really paid attention to was Apollo-Soyuz.
