Home again, after the Sleep Clinic

I don't think I got much sleep at the sleep clinic last night. The EEG and ECG scans, I'm told, disagree to some extent with that. Between the electrodes and the design of the bed...well.

Anyway, I'm home again, more or less safe and sound enough for now.

Got through the interview in the morning with my dignity intact. No further news on that front yet.

Yeah, I don’t know how anyone ever manages to sleep at all at a sleep clinic – Andrew was sent to one years ago; I went along because he’s used to me being there. We kept waking up because he’d twitch and unplug the electrodes, and a man would then barge into the room to reattach them. Admittedly that made a reasonably good substitute for the usual night-time behavior of the cat.

The technologist assigned to watch my readouts had to pay me a couple of visits in the early hours of my session, too, for similar errands.

The capper for me was when the tech woke me up at 0530 and said I was done...

No kidding. Same timing was involved here. Apparently, this is a regular thing?
