Printer Woes - February 2020

Magenta and Cyan are not working for me at all today, despite their still having viable ink. Multiple cleanings and realignment attempts avail me nought, so far. Still using the OfficeJet 7612 for this. Oh, and the Black cartridge is emptied from all the tests and cleanings and realignments, apparently.

I'm going to break for an early supper.

I ran in to my photography teacher a few weeks ago, she's retired. She was telling me about getting a large format Canon printer, and that it wastes zero ink, very thrifty. You might consider looking into them when it comes time to replace your HP. She thoroughly hated the Epsons that the school hated, they went through ink like nobody's business.

Myself, I'd never own an HP inkjet, especially now with this subscription ink service they're trying to force on everyone.

As mentioned before, the OfficeJet 7612 came with a built-in scanner capable of handling 11 x 17 originals. As an occasional comics artists in days past, I didn't dare pass it up. And the price at Staples was just right enough at the time.

I concur that Canon is a good name for printers.

Considering that the first colour printer my parents ever got for their first-ever-bought-by-and-for-themselves computer was a Canon, I am tempted to agree with you.
