MOVIES: Knives Out

To everyone who recommended this movie to me: thank you. As with The Good Liar, I feel a little guilty over having paid less than full first-run fare to see it because discount cinema chain.

To all the people who worked on both sides of the cameras on Knives Out, thank you all! No idea if any of you will read this here, but I'm saying it anyway.

I've got it on my list. I wasn't interested in seeing it when it released, but I started hearing more and more after it left the theaters and like you, I wish I'd seen it when it was in the big houses.

I like the cinema I watched this one at for three reasons:

1. The sound system isn't set to shake your internal abdominals apart from the inside.

2. The C$5.00 admission.

3. No ads before the show starts. Not even trailers for other movies.
