Roller-Coaster: From Joy to Crankiness
Nov. 20th, 2007 09:17 amYesterday, I got nailed with one of those 12-24 hour stomach bugs yesterday. Was not a happy occasion, by any stretch.
The day before that, though...that was fun.
I was at the Arrow and Loon, a restaurant/tavern at Fifth Avenue Court down in the Glebe, attending a gathering of Saskatchewan Roughrider fans to watch the Western Conference final of the CFL. Good company to keep, the results of the game itself were happy ones, and the food was good.
Damn the timing of that stomach bug, though.
Here's to a Grey Cup victory for the 'Riders!
(Yes, I know I live in Ottawa. I spent ten years or so living in a house with a direct line of sight to Taylor Field from my parents' bedroom window, though. You don't "recover" from that kind of thing.)
