Inspired by the webcomic Questionable Content...and I'm fairly certain that I'm not the first to have this thought: such people - May and Bubbles and the like from said webcomic, Data and so on from Star Trek, the Vision at Marvel, etc. - could have their own versions of graphic design software loaded up in their systems as either a core component or an add-on.

Do you think they'd prefer Inkscape? Or something else? I'd imagine it'll vary from character to character.

How much change would have occurred between Doctor Soong's final tweaking of Data's programming suite and the holodecks as we see them endanger the Enterprise? I recall that Data was fussing about picking a good wedding present to replicate, so I don't know how the specifics of that scene informs any conjectures.

I don't know current graphic design software well enough to head canon with it.

How would Vision's differ from JARVIS's and is JARVIS always thinking in wireframes or is that just Tony useful, not being able to see the wireframe for the skin?

In QC the preference seems to be art that's humanly imperfect and ephemeral. Bubbles seems to have some artistic skills built in, my guess is that's because she's a military robot and is expected to draw maps etc. Mass produced art seems to be relatively unpopular; e.g thingy, the ex-cop, looked at the trademark tat on her new body once, but has since ignored it.
