JOBS: Indeed

I'm thinking that today might be a good day to - at some point - run through my list of alert subscriptions with Indeed.ca with an eye towards purging useless alerts. It feels like six years since I first started using that service. Time to do some weeding.

If anyone's got opinions on the company, I'd be interested.

I never got anything useful from any job board! But my main problem is not living in/near a major metropolitan area, there simply aren't any jobs in this area if you aren't a nurse or a laborer.

I had a recruiter call me directly for the for month job at the Air Force base imaging/installing laptops, I have no idea where they found my resume. But I really should go through the job boards and deactivate my resumes, I have too many recruiters emailing me "with positions" all over the country.

Interesting thought. There's one company that sends me recruitment spiels every couple of weeks that I suspect is less than above-board. I wonder where they got my name from, but I suppose I've been indiscriminate enough about applying by now.
