dewlineAs I write these words, we have the following in effect for the Ottawa-Gatineau region:
Tornado Watch
Tornado Warning
Special Weather Statement
We have outages in Riverside Park South, Barrhaven and parts of Gatineau.

Date: 2018-09-22 12:58 am (UTC)Also, Dunrobin and Barrhaven are on the far western to southwestern fringes of urban Ottawa, well away from my neighbourhood. And Gatineau's on the other side of Kichissippi(AKA the Ottawa River) from me. All of those being where tornado action happened or was seen from.
At EF-2, it's apparently the strongest such tornado action the region's been recorded as experiencing.
Now, I guess the recovery starts, and we start counting up the damages.
Again: I'm okay. My family's okay. I'm going to post this as a separate entry.
