I recently listened to Fresh Air's In Memorium piece on Martin Landau when he passed last year. I really enjoyed Space: 1999 when I was a kid, it's been absolute ages since I've seen it. I should check my AppleTV and see if it's available with my subscriptions.
I loved Space: 1999. Comet started showing reruns of it on Saturday nights. Rather than record them, I really ought to dig out the DVD set and rewatch them.
And yes, I did go outside on the night of September 13, 1999 to make sure the moon was still there.
