I was sorry to read that Canada bought in to the mess that is the F-35. I really hope they get their act together and cancel that garbage and get in to the Eurofighter or something that isn't a big jobs program for Lockheed.

I saw an article recently re: Australia's F-35 woes. The 35 was sold as upgradeable, and now they're being told that it would be cheaper to scrap their old models and buy new models.

It's an absolutely insane plane. On top of that, they're saying that it's not an all-weather plane and that the stealth doesn't work except in clear weather. You have clear weather across the entire country all the time up there, right?
