1. I think that Trudeau himself honestly believes that DT-45 is being irrational in pursuing such goals as destroying NAFTA and the World Trade Organization. And he's right as far as that goes.

What I fear he underestimates is how fervent DT-45 will be in that pursuit.

I recently saw that there are rumors that His Cheetoness may try to trash NAFTA in exchange for separate trade deals individually with Canada and Mexico, which would be a mess, as then Canada AND Mexico would need a deal. The guy is a maroon.

LOTS of discussion whether he can pardon himself from Federal charges, but there is no doubt that he CANNOT pardon himself from State charges! And it's likely that many of the things that he's done happened at the State level in New York, New Jersey, probably Florida, maybe elsewhere. Also lots of discussion as to whether a sitting president can be indicted on criminal charges except via impeachment. Myself, I do not know. I have no doubt he's going to be photocopying pardon papers when the fecal matter begins impacting the rotary impellers.
