Noting that while Ottawa-Gatineau's doing okay weather-wise, northern Manitoba's now in forest-fire mode, and central Newfoundland Island is dealing with a 32-and-counting-upward centimetre blizzard. Some parts of New Brunswick are beginning a recovery from river flooding and some parts of inner British Columbia are in the midst of coping with flooding in progress.

And I just know that's an incomplete list at this writing.

Odd tangent to the weather, we had a note in the local (Maine) paper that New Brunswick fiddleheads might be contaminated by that flooding, but Maine fiddleheads weren't . . .

We're at Extreme fire danger and drove through some pretty extreme rain coming home Monday from Colorado. It'd be nice if we could do some minor geoengineering of weather and do some minor redirecting of snow storms and move them where they're needed.
