On other fronts...
•Some possibly good space commerce/exploration news from Nova Scotia. This one's a bit of an update of stuff I've been wanting to keep an eye on since last year. Hoping to see more good news on this front soonish.
•Some stuff re: "terminator" seeds that concerns me, given that I came from a family tree where both sides used to do some serious farming.
•Some other stuff concerning a different sort of "Terminator" and his influence over Parliament in the wake of his visit to Ottawa this week. I acknowledge the legitimate concerns at play here, but I have an uneasy feeling that this is going to lead to very bad unintended consequences. (See michaelgeist.ca for more on this.) Yes, it's possible that I might be wrong. That's another part of what worries me, as some of you on my friendlist are trying to earn an honest living in the film business.
•Still getting stuff prepped for the trip to Toronto for the big convention. Hoping to do a lot, meet many, learn a lot, and have some fun while I'm at it. Last time I visited, I finally did my CN Tower climb. So...what should I do in Toronto that I haven't done before, I wonder?
