It's the same job I was doing in the latter half of last month. I'm told that this time, the four weeks won't be interrupted by any paperwork concerns at either of the other two ends. I'm not worrying overmuch about that. Having a day job in the downtown neighbourhoods - either Ottawa or Gatineau has at least one advantage: I can actually buy hardcopy editions of The New York Times, The Globe and Mail (despite Margaret Wente's columns), and the Toronto Star as early in the local morning as possible.

The new issue of Spacing arrived in my paper-mailbox yesterday. Looking forward to reading that through properly.

Good to be done with the latest cold snap locally.

More later.

Glad the cold snap is over and you will be able to buy newspapers while you are on this job project.

Congrats on the extended employment!

According to our trustworthy thermometer, it's 11f outside right now. Just a bit brisk. Perhaps the coldest morning that we've seen this winter. Sadly, no add'l snow.
