Printer-Related Mystery

Cyan printhead problem looks like it's just about fixed. One remaining mystery: wondering why the blue looks perfect printing out a thing from Google Maps but "Clean Printheads" still gets me white lines interrupting the cyan ink.

I have no idea. Maybe you should run a software diagnostic?

I don't know nearly enough to be comfortable with this stuff either.

That is curious. I think I'd check for print driver updates from Microsoft (I'm assuming Windows) and from the printer manufacturer. If your driver version is a ".0", then it's the RTM version, or what was released when the printer was released, and has never been updated. A lot of the time that makes no difference whatsoever. You might also check on the manufacturer's (un)help web site and see if anyone else describes the same problem.

I've looked at the manufacturers' house forums, and while there's a couple of instances closes to what I've described, nothing exactly matching the situation of the moment. But it has been a couple of days. And I'm using Mac gear. Older stuff, to be sure...
