Star Trek: "PIC: Disengage" (Spoilers in Comments Allowed)
Yeah. Picard was fun.
I enjoyed "Disengage", and Amanda Plummer is a joy to watch as she tears stuff apart.

SPOILERS - Variety re: Deadpool III
https://t.co/oFeDvqt7lf
Seriously. I should have been expecting this announcement. And I wasn't.
Comic book movies, right?

TREK: DSC: Anomaly (Spoilers Probable in the Comments)
At the risk of spoilers, two observations about tonight's episode of Star Trek: Discovery
1, SEATBELTS, people!!! After a thousand years, you'd think that Starfleet would have finally taken that lesson to heart, right?
2. It was an excellent meditation on two themes: grief, and the art of mutual support in times of crisis.

MCU: Seismic Question re: Endgame (SPOILERS)
Nerd pseudo-seismology question re: Endgame - how far away would the impact of alt-Thanos-2014's opening attack on the Avengers Compound have been felt?
MCU: Endgame Update (Spoilers in the Comments, Probably)
Okay.
I've seen Endgame.
Mind blown. Heart broken at four or five different points in the movie...and worth it.
Not sure how much more to say in this posting. But I guess we can discuss spoilers in the comments?

Facebook and the MCU - April/May 2019
Effective tonight, I'm skipping Facebook for a few days...or until I see Avengers: Endgame. Whichever elapses first. If I keep logging into FB between now and actually seeing the movie, I'm going to see something prematurely.
That, and I get to destress a little about local, national, and international politics. That's always a mental-health plus these days.
