So...early winter?

dewlineThat's what today felt like. The snowfall was steady, but the temperature wasn't intolerably cold when I went out for my errands of the day. Not a perfect winter's day. But since it's still officially autumn, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Anyway, pleased to see those pro-CBC rallies mentioned in the previous entry.
Not so pleased to see Edmonton kick Saskatchewan out of this year's CFL playoffs. "Rider Pride" is still a real thing among all of us Saskatchewan expats, after all.
Going back to work at the day-job in the morning. Two and a half more weeks to go, although it's looking as if the workload might shrink faster than the remaining time on the contract. This will lead to another bout of mad scrambling and resume-churning, which could lead to another paying job for who knows how long.
Pleased also to be only one episode behind the times re: Republic of Doyle. It seemed a good idea to play catch-up on that series this weekend. Given that this year is the last season of the series...well, the catching-up was overdue.
The immediate and extended family are okay.
