dewlineSo, while we're waiting on what news last night's self-promotion might bring, there's been some postings by other people across the Web that caught my eye...
Bob MacDonald at CBC's Quirks and Quarks comments on the continuing need for a planetary defence system against asteroid and comet impacts.
There is a website devoted to news and historical tales of Montréal's underground tunnel networks. I have alerted my allies at Spacing Ottawa in case their Montréal compatriots have not yet seen this.
At Gizmodo, I'm seeing over three dozen examples of how the art of computer-assisted artists has advanced in recent years. "Look too real to be fake", indeed!
There is an article on Detroit's glass industry. It might be of some interest to those watching that city's future-building.
Oh and here's one of our media kingpins rumoured to be making a move into Québec politics. Interesting history that the guy has.
