Suffice to say that I am feeling both "exhausted" and "mournful", with a side order of "exasperated".
The "exhausted" part, as I noted in a recent post, is directly traceable to my current (overnight) job. It's getting sooooo bad that I seriously doubt I will *ever* work overnights again. I am even giving some thought to quitting this job ... though the current (read: miserable) economic climate makes this a rather bad idea.
The "mournful" part has to do with kallisti, who (as you have probably heard by now) lost his father late last week. That brings back unpleasant memories for me; my father passed away over fifteen years ago, but I still feel occasionally sad about it.
The "exasperated" part has to do with a roommate who has become tiresome. I should clarify that the person in question is not someone you know, and that he is good at tidying up the place. That's not a bad thing in principle, but he also has a short fuse and is frequently blaming me (who also does some tidying up) for messes that often are created by others. He desperately needs "anger management" training -- preferably starting yesterday. Worse, he can see the pyramids from where he's sitting (if you get my drift here). Something like this happened just over two years ago with another roommate; that ended with said roommate getting an eviction notice. Great. Big. Sigh.
