Florida and Mixed Feelings
Aug. 28th, 2006 01:14 pmI've been keeping an eye on the Ernesto situation as it develops.
I'm more than a little ticked over the apparent consequences for Atlantis' mission to ISS Alpha. I'm also concerned for more than a few friends who live in the general neighbourhood, including one who's been working with me on Retail Therapy(although it looks like her neighbourhood will avoid taking the hit at the moment).
Hoping for the best for everyone I know, and everyone who knows me, whatever happens...

Date: 2006-08-28 05:24 pm (UTC)It should be up around my parts (although slightly weakened) by Wed or so, just before I fly out to Atlanta. Although truth be told I don't think it's going to cause too much trouble by the time it gets to me, but those poor Floridians. It's like God hates them! :-p

It's a good human interest sidebar, and one we perhaps ought to pay closer attention to.
