So much hate on FB. Moffat is the writer I actually DO like, the past few episodes have been too weird for me. But this seems "right".

I won't be surprised to see the fans go all "lynch-mob villagers from the Frankenstein movies" for Moffat over this, but I think we're in agreement.

You might want a look at lonemagpie's comments, for a professional writer's "What I'd have done" POV...which could have worked, but I like the ending we got. We get to see Eleven and River at least try to start grieving.
