A Weather Thought. Just Because.
Aug. 10th, 2006 08:55 pmAt least it's saner weather for the moment.
It's rarely ever a happy medium when it comes to weather here in this town. Which may explain more than a few of the electoral choices my neighbours and I have hashed out via the voting booths since I actually became legally voting-capable. Not sure exactly how and why, but it's something that Pierre Berton once remarked upon in one of his collections of essays: the connections between climate, temper and politics. It made sense to me when I first read it, and it still holds for me today, although I am going to have to rediscover that book and read the specific "letter to Uncle Sam" therein.
Still making good progress drawing pages today, in case anyone's wondering.
