Respectful Disagreement: A Brief Review
Aug. 2nd, 2006 01:47 pmJust saw the latest Detective. I'm still planning on buying it.
But...
I must say this in respectful disagreement to Mr. Dini: did you have to do that to the Riddler at all?
No, not his new job. I like the idea of that, as far as I can see right now.
The amnesia thing.
Genuinely sorry to see the playing-out of that particular consequence of "Hush" postponed like that.
Yes, I'm one of those "pro-permanent changes" fanboys at heart. It sometimes blows up in my face when I get what I want, true. But I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Date: 2006-08-02 06:46 pm (UTC)As I've said I won't be able to form a decent opinion until tomorrow but I can imagine that there will be a lot of "selective amnesia" throughout the course of the DC Universe due to a lot of lost time and events that in this new world didn't happen exactly as they did in the old one.
Which is why we have Pamela Isley back as Poison Ivy and not that new one that was created after Hush killed the original back in Gotham Knights or whatever that cancelled book they ended like that was.
