I'm unconvinced that this ought to be an accurate prediction. Or an accurate self-characterization. I'm hard-pressed to give a coherent explanation as to why that's so right this instant.

Fair warning: Mr. Doucet and I have both contributed work to Spacing Ottawa. We haven't spoken with each other much beyond that context.
