Place du Portage I has 24 official floors. The 24th floor has training rooms with beautiful views but no means to get outside. The service elevator has a button for the 25th floor but it requires an over-ride to use it. I assume there is a way to get outside there because the maintanance staff use platforms to wash the windows that they lower from somewhere.

Place du Portage II has an outside "deck" that is used for service reasons. It is about 12-13 floors up (across from my window) and rarely used by anyone.

Somewhere there used to be a turkey vulture nest because a pair of turkey vultures regularly circles the buildings in the summer.

And turkey vultures have memories almost as good - or at least as obsessive - as elephants?
