dewlineSeeing Senator Dallaire last night was...a lot of things.
Surreal would not be a word to use, though. Not with this. The ground he covered, with humour as much as anger, was all too real. And hope, too, in that mix.
I mean, let's face it: the guy led off with the tale of his introduction to Clowns Sans Frontieres. If ever there were circumstances needing an organization like that one to help solve Problems, Dallaire had faced them directly.
He didn't cover nearly the amount of ground he wanted to. 130+ PowerPoint slides in 90 minutes? Not going to happen.
Also, not a wasted moment in those ninety minutes.
Go take a look at the rest of this set. If I remember right, OIWF should have something in addition to this uploaded soon, and I'll try to get word to you when they've got it done.
