For those of you willing to answer it:

How far - in general terms - would you say your preferred bank branch is to your home, whatever form that home takes?

Do you (walk/drive/ride) to get there?

I don't need to know more than that. Not right now, anyway.

Mine's about a 15/20 minute walk away. I always walk, because I don't have a driver's licence (and haven't been getting the bike out lately).

I can only reach one branch of my bank without assistance. It's 2 1/2 miles off. I ride an electric trike to reach it, which, depending upon circumstances, can be anywhere from 20 minutes to one hour, assuming that I can reach it at all through current road construction issues.

My bank is about ten minutes away on foot.

If I need to talk to a real person, I have to either pick up a phone or drive to Belleville. Other than that, my day-to-day banking needs are as close as the nearest computer with Internet.

Personal banking is done three blocks away.

Business banking is done one-half mile away.

I walk to both.

10 miles and I have to drive. But I do most of my banking on line. I only go to the branch if someone has given me a check for some reason.

My bank is about a mile from my house, and I drive.

While a bank branch (relevant to me) is within 15 minutes' walk, I usually go to a branch about ~2 miles away, which is easily accessible by bus.

I may have a driver's license, but I'd rather not drive; driving is a (slightly safer) form of Russian roulette for most drivers.

There are three branches within a mile of me of my bank + 3 or so ATM locations in stores. The one that's the farthest out (about a mile) is the one I most often use. I'll either walk there or walk there about 3 blocks from a closer parking area which I drive to if I need to do shopping. I don't carry cash very often so I usually only need to use the bank or the ATM for deposits or to get quarters for the laundry.

About a mile and a half. I walk or drive depending on if I have other errands to run... when I have to go to the bank. I usually bank online.

My preferred branch is at the mall, so a quick bus ride away (much as I hate the mall, I rarely need to bank in-person, and those rare occasions are good for picking up the pet supplies that aren't readily available at the grocery store)

Bank trips are always multi-purpose. For almost everything else, I use online banking.

About fifteen minutes walk, so a little bit more than 1000 meters. I sometimes take the bicycle. Mass transit is time-inefficient in that direction, though it would be technically possible.

I do almost all banking online, however. I don't think I've been to the bank in over a year.
