FYI, I have all of this, and more, sitting here on an external drive.
What sort of music are you generally into? I've downloaded punk, electronic, alt.country, jazz, reggae, classical, soul, and a heck of a lot more there.
Yeah. Rockford and Hill Street are on his resume, along with the Law & Order variants. He's done almost every single show Stephen Cannell ever worked on, I think, from Rockford onward.
Memory's vague on this point, but I think it was at least partly due to perceived IP control issues on the part of the US Big Music Industry Four(AKA RIAA). Pandora was forced to back away from their non-American subscribers at speed.
Michael Chapman (if you can find MILLSTONE GRIT, it's particularly excellent), especially DOGS GOT MORE SENSE (aka ORIGINALS on eMusic), but also FULLY QUALIFIED SURVIVOR, RAINMAKER, AMERICANA 1 & 2, THE TWISTED ROAD, and, if you can find it, PLEASURES OF THE STREET. I'd skip HEARTBEAT, however, which is Chapman going new agey.
John Martyn Richard Thompson Fela Anikulepo Kuti (eMusic has pretty much everything the last I looked) Jah Wobble Bill Laswell Peter Hammill (Thin Air is excellent) Van Der Graaf Generator's TRISECTOR Bill Nelson Porcupine Tree (and Steven Wilson, and No-Man amongst the offshoots.)
I recommend also going over to http://jamendo.com and rifling through their growing list of releases, all of which are free to download. I rather like The TenGooz, amongst others.
The works of Arnold Bax. Also, Malcolm Arnold.
And for a slightly perverse capper -- The Edgar Broughton Band. Gutbucket social-issues rock from 1970s Britain.
