The Star Trek: Destiny trilogy of novels byinfinitydog. Still on sale in a bookstore near you.
Also the state of the weather outside at the moment. 4 degrees above Zero-Celsius, rain that's not freezing, so the ice situation's not as hazardous under my feet as it might be. Definitely on the good side of the ledger.
