Jobs: Research in April 2021

Looking at several pieces of federal legislation as a side of effect of my job search this morning. I'm not a lawyer, true. I was still enthusiastic about pre-law classes back when I was in high school, and if there's one thing that Pandemic has made possible, it's going back to study things I wasn't able to pursue when I was younger. This is definitely Second-World Privilege in action.

Also, several of the jobs I want to apply for will likely require knowledge of one or another of these Acts. I won't know for certain until/unless I come across them on GC Jobs, the federal job bank or any of the commercial job search websites I have accounts with. So why not study them unasked anyway?

Eye-Roll Moment

Got another of those "This is Service Canada calling to inform that your Social Insurance Number is immediately suspended for reasons that your Social has been found in criminal or suspicious activity..." calls.
