My brain is turning to lead weight again at night. This should not be happening. I blame right-wing governments, autocrats and would-be tyrants. Their existence anywhere is a continuing hazard to my sanity. Not to mention the rest of my health, per the shutdown of OHIP+ by the Ford "administration" before it could be expanded to include my age group...

Galaxy Map: Tracks and Dots

I tried searching for Deneb on Kevin Jardine's searchable Galaxy map and got a "track" rather than a "dot". I suspect he's building "probability of error" into this map, and that the "track" in such cases will shrink as the GAIA team send out further data releases over the next few years.

Getting Ready To Search Again...

...specifically for a new day job, in about two weeks' time. I'm not counting on any more extensions, because I suspect the project I'm working on is pretty close to done.

I would like to find something where I can put my comics/design skills - as atrophied as they've had to become over the last couple of years in particular due to other obligations - back to use again, and actually be worth having the effort paid for this time out.

But if wishes were horses...or Smart ForTwo electric cars...
