Books I'm Trying to Read - mid-August 2015

• The Art of Alien: Isolation - Design for videogames is getting that interesting to me.


• The Saint: the Brighter Buccaneer - Still working on getting those Saint books I missed in previous decades. This one's a collection of fifteen short stories originally appearing in a weekly paper called Empire News published as a serial in the summer and fall of 1933.


• Black Panther - the Complete Collection Volume One - written by Christopher Priest. Illustrated by Texeira, Evans, Jusko, Manley, Bright and Velluto. One of the probable key influences on the MCU Panther's development.


• Iron Man: Iron Manual - includes Eliot R. Brown's work on the tech of Tony Stark. And that artist should be getting a lot more work like that. I am dead serious about this, people.


• The Age of Selfishness: Ayn Rand, Morality and the Financial Crisis by Darryl Cunningham. Connecting the dots from her development of Objectivism to the crises of this past decade.
