I think that someone is impersonating Machiavel Studios. The latest e-mail seeking my application to be hired does not have a Canadian e-mail address, but Hungarian.
It doesn't surprise me. At my work, it is quite common for scammers to write to someone from the staff on behalf of the CEO, trying to find out financial information, but in response they receive "goodbye".
I tried to buy a ticket for a tour of a local environmental charity's works and the website asked me to pay in Brazilian Reals. I presume the payment site was hijacked, not the local charity.
