Looks like a small Quebec business. Not necessarily a scam. Might be cautious about doing too much work for them without getting paid. And of course, money should only flow one way, to you.
That makes me leery that they’re a scam using the name of the studio. I’ve gotten many scam contacts through ArtStation purporting to be from various studios but requesting the use of Telegram.
If you think they may be legit, it might be worth contacting them via whatever’s on their website and asking if the email is from them.
