Definitely a piece of Cool News I'd never known about before, and it gives me another (highly celebratory) excuse to haul the camera around with me. Granted that it's going to be a "last minute" revelation to the Can-Con organizers, but I think they can take the idea and run with it!
Elayne Riggs notes the existence of a comics-related "good works" project getting underway for Senegal. You might want to follow the links from her blog entry for further info.
Polite Dissent comments on the latest instance of Hank "Beast" McCoy allegedly impersonating an MD. Is it not possible that Hank's been working on his MD behind the scenes, between the panels, over the past few years? If not, why not? I'd like to know.
Denis McGrath honours the fifth anniversary of the founding of Dead Things on Sticks. Congratulations, Denis, even though you think you've retired from blogging!
The New York Times notes the existence of a "plug'n'play" solar array. Something for the renewable energy panel at Can-Con to cover, yes?
More to follow. Meantime, over to you!
