Picked up the Series 4 Doctor Who soundtrack from Compact Music earlier this week. Damn cool music. Murray Gold and the BBC Wales Orchestra rock in the best sense.

If you're wondering what the trial of a Canadian mayor on influence-peddling charges looks like, you might have a gander at this particular CBC News Ottawa page-grouping. Whether he's guilty or innocent, the coverage is a precedent in Canadian law: reporters can text-message live from the courtroom. Still no video, though. We're still working within Canadian law after all, right?

I am growing slightly worried over the situation re: the Atlantis. Hoping we have a happy wrap-up sooner than later, friends.

Theme is "science fiction and the arts". I'll revise this post with the rest of the speaker list ASAP.
