If you're wondering "Why the commissioning plaques?", I have a simple answer: I'm a Star Trek fan. Particularly the work of people like Rick Sternbach, Mike Okuda and Doug Drexler on that collection of TV shows and movies.
So I'm drawn to this kind of thing.
