Weekend's over, and another heat wave has begun in the Ottawa Valley. I keep on saying that our heatwaves are as humid as they are hot.

As of 8 PM, it's only now becoming something resembling tolerable again.

ottawa: Does anyone know of a place in either Ottawa or Gatineau that sells cast iron frying pans like our parents used to use not so many decades ago? You can blame the Globe and Mail's "Toxic Shock" features this week for this inquiry, along with an attack of nostalgia for aulde cooking technologies.
Comics sidebar: Speaking of classics, Johanna Draper-Carlson posted a commentary today on someone picking up where Classic Illustrated was forced to leave off(if memory serves me correctly on my publishers' history).
