Right now, it's raining outside.

Supposedly, it's going to stop sometime late this afternoon or early in the evening, but given the looks of the sky at the moment...well, I'm not counting on that.

Still, I'm getting some chores done. Drawing pages, updating the web gallery pages a page at a time(today it's the CGI Art section), and doing laundry. So it'll be productive in spite of my mood.

What also bugs me is not getting out of the house to the shop today. Wednesdays being what they are, Entertainment Ink should have gotten their comics shipment in this morning. And it seems as if the whole artform -- or at least select fictional universes therein -- are not so slowly getting upended yet again. Which isn't a complaint, however much it sounds like one.

If they ever settle down, though (not to mention how they settle down)...ah, there's the problem. Or at least the potential for trouble...

Something [livejournal.com profile] savageknight said in his latest reply to my first entry got me thinking.

I'd like to attend Hobbystar's Toronto show again next year. Back in the 2004 edition, I managed to rent my first Toronto Artists' Alley table ever. Missed this past summer due partly to financial issues and partly due to artwork needing to be done. And it would've been nice to catch the first Shuster Awards.

I don't know if I'll be able to manage 2006, whether it's the Hobbystar show or the Paradise Comics event.

But we'll see.
