Some of you living in Ottawa may have already heard or read the news:
Anthony Germain, host of Ottawa Morning on CBC Radio One these last couple of years, has been transferred to Shanghai to be CBC's news bureau chief there.
The article on Tod Maffin's blog will go into some additional detail. Anyway, I know he's off to bigger and better things on CBC's behalf, and likely facing challenges in newsgathering and reporting that will likely not be found elsewhere on the planet. But I've gotten used to listening to him in the mornings. I'm going to miss having that experience.
Best of luck to you, Mr. Germain, if you're reading this...and good hunting. May your work benefit the peoples of China and Canada alike.
