I first wound up infected back in May. Exposure to an outbreak at a long-term care home. It didn't feel like much at the time, which I attributed to the vaccines keeping it from being much of an issue.

Now, with the further reporting of side-effects and "long COVID", I'm starting to wonder. It seems of late as if I'm waking up breathing harder than when I went to bed, and not for any enjoyable reason that I can notice. I don't sleep well as it is, in part due to sleep apnea and anxiety. I need to talk with my GP on Monday ASAP.

Try and get on a long covid clinic waitlist. It takes years, so you might as well get in the queue. Also watch exertion—I've heard that the medium-term is actually the most dangerous time in terms of heart and stroke stuff. I hope you're okay.

Oh no. I hope you don't have long COVID. As you know, this is something I deal with and if I hadn't already been on disability I would have to go on it with the way it's impacted my health and ability to function. :/

My partner and I have been wondering whether some or all of the health problems she's dealing with are long Covid from as long ago as the early days of Covid, when we were both sick with something before tests were available.

I hope whatever your body is doing is not long-lasting.

You can check with Survivor Corps for post-covid health centers. Someone there could probably tell you if what you're experiencing is "long covid" or not.
