Yeah, VVP's people barely even bothered to figure out an explanation. If you cross-reference "Igor Sushko" and "Wind of Change" on Twitter, you'll get some interesting stuff, allegedly from within the FSB ranks. If true - and there seems to be some degree of corroboration from other sources - there are people in Putin's old outfit who are growing less and less happy with him over this by the hour, fear it turning into a genuine Third World War, and are not sure of their options.
