I am convinced, as an observer, that the author of this Twitter thread is correct on the stated points. The judge is there to ensure a show trial that will "exonerate" the suspect.

That judge is pretty much as worthless a human being as the defendant. He seems to be doing everything possible to ensure no conviction and to knee-cap the prosecution.
