As of this posting, per covidvax-dot-live's Canadian stats page, Canada is now at 2.04 % of our population being fully vaccinated. At this pace, we'd be at 70 % by the end of November.

Continuing to keep watch, of course...

Is that end of November prediction including the impact of double doses?

In the UK we're at about 10% fully vaccinated with about half (IIRC) having had one dose. I'm expecting the pace of full vaccinations to pick up hugely once we've done everyone the first time as we will have the same amount of capacity but only half the demand.

That all makes sense.

November feels like a long way away.

I think we're looking at July for practical completion of the vaccination programme in Scotland. We've done 57.8 and 11.6 of 1st and 2nd doses respectively. Functionally 100% of 55+ have had 1st doses and 52.8 of 80+.

Things have slower down a little in recent weeks as we have a little blip in supply and we're mostly doing 2nd doses for the elderly which is slower.

I impatiently await mine.

I remain both surprised and pleased at how well US vaccination is going ever since we threw the fasc out of office - we're now at around 20% fully vaccinated
