Saw this one on the Beeb this morning.

This is the last throw,I suspect if he can't even get his own appointees to back him.

I have seen others make the point that once those three appointees got their seats on the bench, there was nothing more he could do for or to them. So they could afford to do the right thing on this front without immediate, direct consequence.
