...of culling and job-searching beginning now. Still not feeling like I'm moving quickly enough about anything at the moment. It would be great to win the current LottoMax jackpot - C$34 million, if memory serves - but I cannot, dare not count upon that happening. I have to act as though I expect more things to go wrong or worse at any moment.

The right hip is feeling better this morning. I'm better able to climb staircases, but pain is still irregularly restricting freedom of hip joint movement.

Considering dumping my copies of the following titles:

• The Atlantic
• Harper's
• New Republic
• The Walrus
• Mother Jones
• National Geographic

Have not made up my mind yet.
