Whatever's actually in the data of those daily news releases, I tend to think this will serve as a prophylactic/vaccine - not sure what's the better metaphor here! - against both Trumpist "not going to be a problem" lies and other parties' incitements to panic. Neither group of troublemakers tends to like professionals who know what they're talking about having free rein to tell truth. The former definitely don't like international institutions like WHO.
